Monitoring and controlling dosage for hemophilia medication is extremely difficult due to the nature of the disease. Proprietary statistical algorithms were created to more precisely estimate the correct dosage and the amount of the active ingredient in the blood of the patient. 
The challenge was accurately representing these algorithms and making the design responsive to real-world situations such as missed doses, appearance of symptoms, and new data inputs from scheduled and unscheduled visits. 
The design had to be clean, user-friendly and correct to a degree that a physician could make decisions pivotal to the patient's health based on the information displayed.
