UX Problem Statement and Goals
The company is in the process of creating a new large-scale design system. The design system is intended to cover enterprise applications for users of complex financial instruments.
The development process exposed the need for a tool that allows users to create new accounts or groups of accounts or modify existing accounts.
UX challenges
When creating an account, user input must be divided into particular sections. The user must be able to see the completed status of each section and whether it is required or optional.
The tool must also provide quick access to any input section because the amount of information is substantial and presented on pages with long vertical scrolling.
Proposal and Implementation
A user survey resulted in the proposal of a tool combining a wizard's functionalities and a menu with additional information.
New menu options have been AB-tested, and a detailed menu has been incorporated into the design system as an “organism-level” part based on already existing “atomic” elements.
All elements and templates were created in Sketch and placed on the Frontify platform.
